Honest Question: Did Anyone Actually Feel Bullish at -80%?

Bitcoin Reddit

More / Bitcoin Reddit 24 Views

I’ve only recently become a Bitcoin investor, so I wasn’t around for the brutal 70–80% crashes in the past.

Looking back now, those crashes seem like incredible buying opportunities. But I’m curious what it actually felt like at the time.

Were people on this subreddit excited and aggressively buying the dip? Or was the sentiment mostly that Bitcoin was dead and it would never recover?

It’s easy to say today, “I wish I had bought at $3k or $16k,” but I’m wondering what retail investors were actually thinking and feeling during those moments.

For those of you who lived through the 2014–15, 2018, or 2022 bear markets:
What was the overall mood on Reddit?

Did you personally keep buying, or were you too scared?

At what point did sentiment finally start to change?
I’m interested in hearing the real emotions and psychology behind those crashes, not just the hindsight.
